Admission arrangements are dealt with by the Local Authority directly, please contact them for further information.

Proposed Admissions Policy for 2026-27 for Woodchurch Road Academy

In line with the statutory duty of admissions authorities to consult if changes are proposed to admissions arrangements, please find attached the proposed Admissions Policy for Woodchurch Road Academy 2026-27.

The policy has been updated to reflect that it will be Cheshire Academies Trust that will be the admissions authority for the school and includes an addition to the over-subscription criteria and a change in the tie breaker section.

We invite you to comment on the proposed policy in the consultation period which will run from 3rd December 2024 to January 14th 2025.  Please forward any comments with the subject line WOODCHURCH ROAD ADMISSIONS POLICY 2026 to debbie.tomkinson@cheshireacademiestrust.co.uk.   

All comments submitted to us will be considered by our board of trustees after the end of the consultation period.
