As part of our Victorian History topic we are delighted to be able to take the children on a trip to Quarry Bank Textile Mill in Wilmslow, Cheshire on Friday 10th March.
The cost of the trip is £7.00 which includes a guided tour of the mill, role play sessions in the Apprentice House and the cost of transport.
School uniform may be worn but to make the most of the visit we would like the children to wear a simple Victorian costume, for example:
Dark shirt Dark shorts/trousers
Dark flat shoes Plain shirt
White blouse Waistcoat
Bonnet/mop cap Flat cap
Hair in plaits or bun Dark shoes/socks
A pinafore or apron if you have one
Your child will need to bring a packed lunch in a plastic carrier bag which can be thrown away after use, however if your child is entitled to free school meals and you want to order one please complete the attached form and return it to your child’s teacher.
Children may bring up to £2 pocket money if they wish.
